As I was about to launch and celebrate “Anxiety Warrior” and The Anxiety Warrior Project: learning symposium of celebrating life and lowering anxiety, I realized how many more community resources are available to us.
I realized how we relate to each others’ stories. How we connect and feel hope.
Here in this edition are chapters on the benefits of teas, essential oils, yoga, Chinese medicine, nature, financial planning, expressive arts, music therapy, breath work, nutritional health, and mental challenges, all by people passionate about their work and life. Also included are personal stories about overcoming challenging life situations, contributed by people I consider heroes for what they’ve accomplished. All the contributors are Chikara warriors. “Chikara” is a Japanese word meaning power and strength, and suggests discipline and honor.
